Bikercoin has a limit of only 25 million Bikercoins that will ever exist. This was implemented in order to prevent the problem of inflation and debt, identical to what has happened in all other fiat currency systems. Mining is the method of computationally generating these Bikercoins. A controlled and fixed amount of Bikercoins are digitally mined everyday.
This process requires computing power, electricity, and a significant investment as it solves CryptoNight hashes through bruteforce to verify transactions and add them to the network’s transaction log. In simpler terms, generating Bikercoins means you need a powerful computer CPU(s) and/or Video Card (for GPU mining), to solve demanding mathematical problems.
Solo Mining with bikercoind and simplewallet console (All Platforms)
Launch a Bikercoin daemon
(bikercoind) from the command line.
Wait until bikercoind is synchronized. You will be notified with several green “SYNCHRONIZED OK” messages.
Run simplewallet to start the Bikercoin wallet.
Create a new wallet or login in the existing one. Either way you will receive your address and will be able to start mining.
Start Bikercoin mining from the daemon or from the wallet. (Type start_mining at the simplewallet console)
CPUMiner Cloud Computing, VPS, Dedicated Server Pool Mining. (Tested on Ubuntu 14.04)
First your dependencies:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:costamagnagianfranco/autoconf -y
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install build-essential screen automake m4 openssl libssl-dev git libjson0 libjson0-dev libcurl4-openssl-dev autoconf python-software-properties -y
Next get the miner source and compile:
git clone https://github.com/wolf9466/cpuminer-multi.git
Optimize system for mining
thr=$(($threads – $sub))
thruse=$(($thr * 3))
sudo sysctl -w vm.nr_hugepages=$thruse
Start your miner with screen
sudo screen ./minerd -a cryptonight -o stratum+tcp://pool.bikercoin.org:3001 -u bickwxS3uZ6aWQeerTcJqg7PgpzYheoWKLcvke6vCNs64gYS3FYxgbGR3JsMNfgnP2UdnGdZpRVwNJeySi2qMTsw7WZTUa7CHa -p x
